It is going to be another successful NEW Ashburton Art event following on from the festival last year. We have a fantastic and comprehensive programme of contemporary sound artists, installations and music lined up for the event. As you will know this year we are fundraising to enable us to increase seed funding for future plans for contemporary art in the town.

The Big Draw
The Big Draw is the world’s largest drawing festival with thousands of enjoyable, and mainly free, drawing activities which connect people of all ages with museums, outdoor spaces, artists, designers, illustrators – and each other. These events are for those who love to draw, as well as for those who think they can’t!
Greg Newman and Karen Lorenz will work with KEVICs students to make drawings influenced by sound. Exhibited all day Saturday 19th September 2015 at Artspace 57. The show will continue in October and be part of the National Big Draw 2015.
